2 INCIDENTS IN A ROW! A Part of an Alaska Airlines 737 MAX 9 Gets Ripped Off of the Plane Resulting in a 737 MAX 9 Grounding

Yes you read it right. As if JAL 516 wasn’t enough, we have another incident with a 737 MAX 9 by Alaska Airlines.

The aircraft’s door plug got ripped off mid flight causing a gaping hole in the aircraft. Fortunately no one was seated in that row (26) for this flight. A child in the row behind got his shirt sucked out.

The door plug is a type of emergency exit that is meant to be used by kicking it out. A bolt of a door plug for the incident plane was loose and flew off shortly after takeoff. The door then flew off the aircraft leaving a huge hole in the plane.

The FAA reacted immediately and grounded the MAX 9 until investigations complete. Yes, another MAX grounding. A lead that is known to the public is that United Airlines and Alaska Airlines found loose bolts and nuts.
