Artemis and it’s launch attempts

All of us who are space enthusiasts know that there have been multiple attempts to launch the most important moon flyby mission by NASA “Artemis 1”.

NASA’s first attempt to launch Artemis 1 ended up in a scrub 40 minutes prior to liftoff. There was a failure of the engine bleed procedure. The second attempt ended up as a scrub too. Strangely the same issue occurred. The new launch date is set for November 14 2022. NASA has a launch window that opens at 12:07. They also have a backup window on November 16 2022 at 1:04 and November 19 2022 at 1:45.

The launch may have happened even before this but the impact of hurricane Ian had damaged the space center. The Artemis 1 rocket was rolled into the vehicle assembly building for protection before hurricane Ian had arrived. Luckily, NASA reported that the rocket was untouched.

Is Artemis going to the moon for real this time? That is a question that nobody can answer. All of us will just have to wait and watch.
